Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB and its subsidiaries, Insurans Islam Taib Sendirian Berhad, Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad and TAIB Filling Station Sendirian Berhad, held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony and Donation Presentation for the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, DANA. It took place at the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Kampung Katimahar, 12th March afternoon.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of Tahtim Al-Qur'an and Doa Khatam Al-Quran. At the ceremony, 39 selected orphans received donations from Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Rertired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB's Board of Directors. Meanwhile, the handover of donations to the DANA was officiated by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Muhammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs as Deputy Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB.
